Fanta shoot
This photo is continuing from the Lego shoot by incorporating brands and logos to create advertising images, to set up this shot I used yellow card to create and infinity curve for the background, I chose yellow as it went well with the colour of the can and the orange, if I were to retake this shot I may consider using an orange background as yellow has stronger connotations of lemon. I chose to use a sliced orange for this shoot as it helps the viewer imagine the flavor as well as staying within the theme of citrus food and colour. I used studio lighting to focus on the subject. I also used a spay bottle filled with water to create these beads of water on the can, a trick used in advertising to make the product seem more appealing and in the case of food, more refreshing. To edit this photo I will be adding text to the image in order to turn this into and advertisement for Fanta.

Levis and MacDonald's
For this shoot I took inspiration from old 70's Levi's adverts to create my piece. I wanted to combine elements of adverts that I had previously done to create another stylised poster shoot. Colour, texture and imagery were key themes in creating this image, I had seen that Levi's ads had a reoccurring motif of items "wearing" or coming out of the trousers, specifically in two photos; the earth and a pair of hands, that followed with the caption "a world of wear in every pair!" this became one idea for how I would edit this image, by imitation the world in trousers visual. Another came from the hands advert which I really liked. The hands reminded me of French fries so my second idea for the shoot was to create a visual representation of this, almost a collaboration piece between MacDonalds and Levi's.

Dino Polaroid
I used a black and white filter on my phone camera to capture this shot as I believe the lack of colour adds to the sense of realism to the shot, as if it was captured in a museum as a recreation of DNA. I also used square format for the shot as it captured the aesthetic of old Polaroid images, which I also used for the contact sheet but did not use as the quality of the photos developed blurred and unusable. The set up was basic so I could initially focus on lighting and angles for small models, I used an infinity curve so the background was basic and did not take away from the subject. To edit this photo I will use the six step process, add more contrast and use curves to help push the darkness in the image as well as cropping it, editing out the plastic lines in the figure and add a vignette to help bring the focus towards the figure and hide the background. I may also try adding a border to fully complete the Polaroid film look.

Lego Box Art
The aim for this photo was to create a minimalism box art for this Lego toy. To set up the shot I use a computer screen with a marvel city location shown on it to make the car look as if it was a part of the marvel world, the I positioned the car In front on the screen on a podium, this use of having the model higher up allowed me to shoot from several angles to find most fitting look for the vehicle. I focused my camera on the Lego spider man figure in the car, this blurred the background and the surrounding vehicle. To edit this photo I will use curves to smooth the background and make it fit better with the model as well as adding the box art text onto the model to add a narrative to the image and combine this shoot with my following product shots.

Nike Basketball Shoes
My plan with this shoot is to turn the final photo into a 70's styled Nike advertisement to do this I will use an original advert as inspiration and create a physical poster that I will soak in tea to make the image look aged as if it were from the 70's itself. To take this shot I used a dark blanket to create an infinity curve for the backdrop as well as using a basketball to mirror the original ad I was taking inspiration from, I also used studio lighting to keep the focus on the subjects. Using photoshop I will give the image a large border to include the advertising for the poster. The text I use will be in the Nike and times new roman font to keep the imaged themed and professionally styled. This photo is weaker than some of my other advertising
